Looking to get connected with BCM life? We plan to host multiple opportunities for students to find an open community that seeks to bless God and care for others. It does not matter if you have never heard of God and Christianity, or have been a Christian your whole life…all are welcomed!

Small Groups are our way to build community through a group of people who are committed to gather together and share life. Our small groups aim to enrich student’s live with the gospel and be a space for others to share openly about their lives and discover who God is shaping them to be. We will host regular small groups throughout the semester that are flexible to meet the needs of your schedule.

Small Groups Meet Every Week in the Current in the Tyler Haynes Commons on the First Floor Overlooking the Lake. Fri. 10 am // Fri. 1 pm

Connecting with the Campus

Looking to connect with faith-based opportunities offered by the University of Richmond? Check out the Office of the Chaplaincy and the Kairos Contemplative Christian Services!

Kairos Contemplative Christian Service
Tuesday evenings, 8-8:30 p.m., Cannon Memorial Chapel

Kairos is a weekly service that offers students sacred time to reflect on life’s deepest questions. Led by members of the Chaplaincy staff and students who serve on the Kairos Leadership Team, the 30-minute service includes scripture, hymns, contemporary music, prayer and candle lighting. Each service focuses on a theme and question that help students to consider their lives and their relationship to the world around them in light of their faith. This semester, we are exploring themes and questions that emerge from familiar Biblical stories.

Connecting with BCMs around the State

The Kairos Initiative is the BCM’s statewide ministry for college students who seek to dive deeper into their faith in regards to Leadership, Missions, and Call to Vocational Ministry.

The Kairos Initiative is a BGAV affiliated program for college students hosted through local BCMs and is a separate ministry from the Kairos Service hosted by the University of Richmond Office of the Chaplaincy.
